Japanese robot maker VStone introduced a low-priced robot kit called Robovie-i.
The Vstone Robovie-i measures 165x104x145mm and weighs about 600g.
The tiny robovie-i is able to move with only 3 motors. The robot can kind of walk (see video) and that is pretty much it. An optional remote can tell the little bugger where to go.
Vstone's robot kits are featuring usually about 20 motors and can do almost anything you want them to do.The good thing is the low price of 30,000 yen ($266).
More details on Vstone site and on Nikkei.Net (Subscription).
