Autoloc Flame Thrower is Scary
Topic: Cars & Vehicles
You know it might sound cool to have flames fly out of the exhaust pipe of your car; it is more than a little dangerous. Autoloc says that its car flame thrower kit that shoots flames from the exhaust pipe is for off road use only, but still I’d not want to be around a car with this thing onboard.
Kits are available for single or dual exhaust applications and includes the main control box that can control 2 spark plugs, activation button, wire loom, and wiring diagram. The kit lacks the two coils and sparkplugs needed for operation. Read more

DOORKICK Keeps Your Door Panels New
Topic: Cars & Vehicles
One of the top priorities when people get new cars is to keep them looking new for as long as possible. Many people kick the door of their car open with a foot on the interior trim panel. The problem is that this puts little scratches and dirt on the door over time.
Interior trim panels are very expensive and the marks to the finish just look bad. A new product promises to let people keep kicking the door open without causing any scratches to the door itself. The DOORKICK is a foam backed vinyl that sticks to your door with a 3M adhesive that is removable and leaves no residue. Read more

Spada TS Codatronca
Topic: Cars & Vehicles
Italian Spada Vetture Sport are building a new very uniquely styled super sportscar dubbed Spada TS Codatronca.
The company's vision is centered on functional design, which, according to Ercole Spada, means to express the functionality of an object through its shape.
The Spada TS (Turismo Sportivo) Codatronca has a 600hp engine, reaches more
than 340 km/h (~211mph) top speed and complies with the FIA GT1 regulations.
If you care for the environment (and you should), Spada offers an ad hoc converter kit, which allows fueling the
car with E85 green fuel, with a slight increase in torque and power.

SwissBike,a Division of Montague Corporation offers a very cool folding Mountain bike. The folding design is derived from a Military project funded by DARPA.
In 1997 Montague partnered with the US Marines to develop the Tactical Electric No Signature (TENS) Mountain Bike. Montague developed a new folding frame design called the X-Series, integrating the F.I.T. (Folding Integrated Technology) system into the frame design. The non-electric version of the TENS Mountain Bike, named The Paratrooper, became available shortly thereafter.

Car & Driver Tests Nissan GT-R
Topic: Cars & Vehicles
Last November I went to the LA Auto Show and one of the coolest cars I saw there was the new Nissan GT-R. The car didn’t strike me as particularly large, definitely smaller than the Mitsubishi 3000GT/Dodge Stealth from the 90’s, yet it is still called large by many reviewers.
The GT-R is a good looking car for sure, but it didn’t have one of those exhaust notes that make your blood race like say a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or a big American V8. Still the car is very cool, and at over $70,000 base price more expensive than anyone ever thought they would see on a Nissan. Read more

Tummyshield Car Seat Belt for Pregnant Women
Topic: Cars & Vehicles
An Australian company offers a special contraption to make car seat belts safer for pregnant women.
The Tummyshield keeps the waist belt away from the tummy area.
Apparently this system is tested. I would still first check with your car insurance provider to see if this product is allowed.
