Demand for the new Xbox 360 doesn't seem that high as its sales rank is at 93 in the Video Games category. Sales are rising though as the 60GB Xbox 360 is on the 9th place in the movers and shakers list. Read more

Sony PSP outsells Nintendo DS in Japan Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review According to the sales analysis of Enterbrain the Sony PSP outsold the Nintendo DS last month.

Sony sold 256,765 PSP consoles and Nintendo sold 217,639 units.
This is not the first time the PSP has outsold the Nintendo DS. Sony said in July that they already sold 10 million PSP consoles in Japan alone. Read more

Lineup for First Rock Band Live Tour Announced Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review The Rock Band Live Tour is coming this fall and co-headlining the shows will be plain White T's and Dashboard Confessional. The tour will allow the real rock bands to perform and offers concertgoers the chance to compete on Rock Band for the chance to play on the main stage between acts.

Bands will be selected trough local radio promotions, on-site at the show and via national contests. The concert will kick off on October 5th in San Diego, CA and wind up on November 14th in Houston, TX. Tickets go on sale Friday. Read more

PS3 Firmware 2.42 got released Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Sony published another firmware update for the Sony PS3 today. The new PS3 Firmware 2.42 improves the playback of PS3 and Playstation titles.

Sony is not diving into more details on what exactly the game play improvements are.
Sony ran into big issues when rolling out firmware 2.40. Firmware 2.41 solved the issue some PS3 owners experienced earlier this month. Read more
