Dell E and Dell E Slim new low-cost Linux and XP Netbooks Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review New information about the Dell mini Notebook that appeared under Micheal Dell's arm at the end of May have leaked.

Engadget received several slides detailing a Dell E and a Dell E Slim notebook.
The Dell E would have an 8.9 inch screen, 1.6Ghz Diamondville CPU, 4,8 or 16GB Flash memory, 512 or 1GB RAM, and Wifi. The Dell E would be available with Linux or Windows XP. Read more

Safari 4 would be part of the next update of OS X Snow Leopard. Maybe it will even come earlier as Snow Leopard is still a year out.

HP Announces its DV4, DV5 and DV7 Notebooks

HP Announces its DV4, DV5 and DV7 Notebooks Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review HP has also introduced today three new notebooks in the DV series. The line includes the 14.1” dv4, 15.4” dv5, and the 17” dv7. The dv4 offers options including a TV tuner and Blu-ray drive along with wireless broadband. Processors offered in the line will include the latest from AMD and Intel.

The dv5 offers the same options plus discrete NVIDIA graphics cards and the dv7 adds options for ATI and NVIDIA graphics. All three systems have a new liquid-metallic HP Imprint 2 surface design, magic chrome touch controls, and one touch access to stored media. A complete line of accessories is being introduced along site the notebooks. Read more

New Voodoo Desktop and Notebook Announced Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review HP’s Voodoo gaming line added a couple new products to its line with a new Omen gaming desktop and a new ultra-mobile notebook called the Envy 133. The new Voodoo Omen will initially be an invitation only system sent to users who have purchased Voodoo machines before. Full availability will be later in the summer.

The starting price for the very customizable Omen is a whopping $7000 and includes a 7-inch auxiliary display, liquid cooling, top loading cables, interior lighting and more. The Envy 133 will retail for $2099 and uses a 13.3” LCD. The keyboard is backlit and the touch pad recognizes gestures. Read more

HP Launches TouchSmart All-in-One PCs Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review HP introduced a new all in one PC called the HP TouchSmart family. The TouchSmart systems feature HP software designed to be operated with the touch of a finger. HP says that users can watch TV, create playlists, listen to music and check weather and email without using a mouse or keyboard.

The systems require only one power cord to set them up and are built around a 22-inch LCD and use Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The systems include 4 GB of RAM and a media card reader and high capacity hard drives. The TouchSmart with TV tuner will retail for $1499 systems without the TV tuner will retail for $1299. HP says that this is the first time that the Blackbird has been offered at retail locations. The exclusive configuration for retail outlets will sell for $3299 and feature a Core 2 Quad Q9450 CPU, Vista Home Premium, liquid cooling, 9800 GT graphics in SLI, 4GB corsair dominator RAM, 500 GB storage and more.
