Gift card bundle deals seem to be a hot trend again this holiday shopping season. Walmart is offering the Xbox 360 Arcade with a $100 gift card tomorrow and Amazon just launched a gift card deal on three Asus notebooks from their UL series.
You get a free $100 Amazon gift card with the purchase of the Asus UL50AG-A2 or Asus UL80Vt-A1. If you buy the Asus UL20A-A1 you get a $75 Amazon gift card.

LG 55LH40 55-inch 120Hz LCD HDTV Has Bargain Price On Amazon

If you look closely you can already find extremely good deals on Amazon.com today, before the whole Black Friday deal bonanza even begins.
I stumbled over the LG 55LH40 55-inch 120Hz LCD HDTV in the Electronics Movers and Shakers list on Amazon. It has improved its sales rank by over 3,000%. At first I though the $1,472 price tag (list: $2,199.95) is the reason for this rise, but it could be a much lower price actually.
Amazon has a See Price In Cart offer on the LG 55LH40 of only $1,198.94. I could not find this big LCD 120Hz LCD HDTV at even close to that price anywhere else (Compare Prices).

Walmart made big waves this week with rather hot pre Black Friday deals available this Saturday. These deals are only available in-Store though. Today Walmart launched a sale only for online customers. A new set of deals on their homepage appeared today under the Amazing Online Specials promotion.
The Walmart Amazing Online Specials feature a Wii Bundle for $269 (saves $20), 8MP Kodak Camera for $69, Nintendo DSi value bundle for $197 (was $219), a Toshiba Windows 7 Notebook for $398 and many more deals.

Lowe's Hardware store has already released their 8 page Black Friday 2009 Ad online. The pages are still covered by some text pattern saying that the prices are only valid starting Black Friday through 11/30/09.

Walmart announced yesterday hot electronics deals for this coming Saturday Nov. 7th. These In-Store Deals are Black Friday worthy and we have analyzed the deals in detail here. In addition to the 42-inch Sharp LC42SB45UT HDTV deal, Walmart also mentioned two 120Hz Sharp HDTVs, but did not reveal the model numbers. Now Walmart has published the details of the two 120Hz Sharp HDTVs on their online shop. Unfortunately not all stores will carry these Sharp TVs.

Black Friday 2009 To See More Shoppers Says ICSC And Goldman Sachs Survey

There are many surveys and predictions about the 2009 holiday shopping season and Black Friday 2009 in particular. One new survey that was published yesterday caught my eye because it was published by ICSC and Goldman Sachs.
ICSC is the International Council of Shopping Centers. The organization had Opinion Research Corporation conduct a survey of 1,000 randomly selected consumers between 10/29 and 11/01.
According to the survey's result 16% of consumers will start their holiday shopping on Black Friday. This is up 6% from the ICSC 2008 survey.

As reported the deals are only available on Saturday November 7th at Walmart stores starting at 8am. The deal highlights are a Xbox 360 Arcade with $100 gift card, an HP Windows 7 Notebook for $298 and a 46-inch full HD Panasonic Plasma TV for $788.

Earlier today we reported the announcement of Walmart's early Black Friday deals that the retailer will be offering this Saturday at 8am. Besides Sears and Kmart Walmart, is opening big sale events weeks before Black Friday.
Walmart has set the bar rather high with at least two very impressive deals in electronics this weekend. The Xbox 360 Arcade will be offered for $199 with a $100 Walmart gift card and Walmart offers an HP Notebook with Windows 7 Home Premium at a netbook price of only $298.
