I went to Barker Hangar today to check out the games on display and I was shocked at how small the display is. The hanger is not nearly as large as I had envisioned and there weren’t that many press types there. The small amount of geeks that were there makes me wonder about the turn out for the show this year.
I had a chance to check out Crysis, though I didn’t get to play the game myself. Man does it look good, it’s everything I liked about Far Cry when it first launched, but turned up several notches. The graphics were great and the game play was very nice as well. I also played some of Namco’s new Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation on Xbox 360 and had some serious fun. The graphics were good and I really liked the game play.
I was surprised to see that not one single booth babe was in the house, as close as you get to booth babes this year are the PR ladies working the booths. I plan to go back tomorrow to the hanger and check out some more of the games on display so come back and read more later.
