Japanese Shimadzu developed a new version of their DataGlass HMD series.

The DataGlass 3/A is a small monocular lens head mounted display for wearable PCs. The DataGlass 3/A allows the user to see a 10inch wide screen 60cm in front of him.
Shimadzu designed the DataGlass 3/A for industrial use. It is dust- and water-proof.

If you wear (photo) the Shimadzu HMD you look like a pirate with an eye patch though.
The augmented reality HMD weighs 120g and is powered via a USB port. SVGA and VGA input resolutions are supported by the wearable display.
The display resolution is therefore 800x600px (260k colors).
Shimadzu prices the Data Glass 3/A at 199,500 Yen (~$1,636) in Japan.
Here is a video demonstrating the DataGlass 3/A.
More details about the DataGlass 3/A can be found on the Shimadzu site (Japanese).
