Logitech has announced a new notebook mouse using the same scroll wheel technology from the original VX Revolution notebook mouse called the Logitech VX Nano. The most notable difference in the two mice is the new wireless receiver the Nano uses.
Typical USB receivers are large and sized like many flash drives. The new Nano uses a very small wireless receiver that doesn’t stick out from your notebook much, allowing you to leave it plugged in at all times. Protruding only 8mm from the side of your notebook there is no worry of breaking the receiver by leaving it plugged in at all times.
The other design difference is ergonomic with the new Nano mouse appearing to be more of an ambidextrous design than the original VX Revolution. The Nano does use the same hyper-fast scroll wheel as the VX did and can be changes from click to freewheel mode as well. The Logitech VX Nano cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks is supposed to be available in august for $79.99. Via Logitech
