Apple releases iPhone Security Update 1.0.1

Apple raced to issue a security update for the iPhone to be available just a day before the iPhone takeover hack is detailed at the Black Hat Hacker conference in Las Vegas.
The iPhone 1.0.1 update includes Safari browser fixes in the area of cross-site scripting and arbitrary code execution from malicious web pages.
You can read the iPhone 1.0.1 update details in this security document on the Apple site. The update for your iPhone is delivered via iTunes automatically.
Apple released also yesterday security updates for Mac OS X 10.3.9, Mac OS X 10.4.10 and Safari 3 Beta.
