AVerMedia Launches New TV Tuner Express Card

The AVerTV Hybrid ExpressCard is used in a laptops Express Card slot and has a hybrid world-wide analog and ATSC tuner and is certified for Windows XP, MCE and Vista Premium.
The card is a 54mm Express Card combining both ATSC and analog into one tuner. The device allows you to watch and record shows in both HD and analog and has onboard hardware compression to reduce CPU workload.
"The new AVerTV Hybrid ExpressCard provides an Analog and Digital TV Tuner solution for laptops with an Express Card interface while transforming it into a High Definition multimedia entertainment center," says Felix Kolotinsky, Product Manager for AVerMedia Technologies, Inc. "By combining both Analog and HD capabilities onto once tuner, users can easily watch, record, rewind and playback Analog and HDTV programs."
Pricing for the AVerMedia AVerTV Hybrid ExpressCard which includes an antenna and remote is $129.99 and the tuner is available now. Via AVerMedia
