Lufthansa Airbus A380 to Get Bunk Beds

Lufthansa Airlines recently ran a poll on their website asking what passengers would think of being able to get lie flat beds rather than seats on some of their flights. A company spokeswoman says feedback on the idea has been good so far.
Rather than getting seats, passengers would get bunk beds stacked floor to ceiling in a triple deck configuration in a herring bone pattern around the outside of the plane.
In the center of the isle would be two more rows of bunks. Some say this sleeping class would bring luxury to economy class flyers. I’m not sure about that, I am not fond of the idea of sleeping for an intercontinental flight without the option of sitting up in my seat if I want to. I don’t see how you could even work in the bunks if you wanted to use your laptop. Via Sci Fi Tech
