The first word on the ASUS R600 GPS device made its rounds back in July, but today we found an FCC filing where ASUS is seeking approval to sell the GPS device here in America.
The R600 can support video, MP3’s, and photos as well when your not using it for your trip. The screen is a 4.3” 480 x 272 pixel WQVGA unit.
Operation time is said to be six hours with the 2200mAh internal rechargeable battery. 128Mb of internal memory stored map data and a SD card slot supports cards of up to 4GB. No word on pricing or availability at this time.
