Logic3 has managed to bring the first iPhone speaker sighted for sale in Britain to market. Ironically, the iPhone itself isn’t even available there yet. The speaker is called the i-Station Traveler and is decked out in black and chrome trim to match the iPhone.
The speaker is built so that the iPhone can sit vertically or horizontally in the dock. Power output is only 4 watts total, so don’t expect earth shaking levels of bass.
The i-Station Traveler also includes a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter to allow it to operate with no iPod devices. Power comes from a trio of AAA batteries or Ac power via the included adapter. The price is 30 British Pounds.
