Matsushita announces electronic book device - Sigma Book.
We reported about the Sony electronic book already that was announced in japan. Books are sold on SD Memory card the slide into the electronic book, which has the size of 292x205x12.7mm. The display screen featurs 1024x768 resolution with 16 grey-scales. The ebook weighs around 500g.
Matsushita is part of the japanese eletronic books consortium.

The Matsushita BKE-AW-N7 will be available in japanese stores february 20th for 38,900yen.

eBooks are not a new thing, they basically failed in Europe and USA a couple of years ago. Maybe they make it in Japan and then come back to the rest of the world.
