Easy buttons also allow you to create a PDF, copy, or email with scanned documents at the press of a single button. The 8800F can also scan up to twelve 35mm slides and negatives at one time. The maximum scan resolution is 4800 x 9600 dpi. The MSRP for the 8800F is $199.99.

The other scanner announced today is the CanoScan LiDE90. this scanner is the thinnest in the Canon lineup and includes a stand for vertical positioning. Maximum scan resolution is 2400 x 4800 dpi and the entire scanner is powered by a single USB port, no external power adapter is needed. The pricing for the LiDE90 is $79.99.
