At the GC 2007 in Leipzig, Sony announced Germany Go!Explore, the new Satellite Navigation package for PSP.
Japanese PSP users have had a navigation package available to them for a long time. Now Sony is bringing in-car and pedestrian navigation on the PSP to Europe.
Sony developed Go!Explore with TeleAtlas and NavNGo.
Features of Go!Explore include 11 unique audio languages, Find & Go Easy Search & Smart Keyboard, Smart Zoom Automatic Zooming & Tilting, and Points Of Interest in 100 categories, with thousands of locations.
Seven geographic versions are confirmed: UK/Ireland; Iberia; France; Germany/Austria/Switzerland; Italy; Benelux; Scandinavia.
Go!Explore for the Sony PSP is supposed to be available early next year.
