Stealth Acoustics is introducing a new invisible speaker called the STX8 dual-channel flat panel invisible speaker. The loud speaker is intended for music playback. The speaker is a full-range design with a flat-front panel that fits inside a standard 3.5” stud wall, attaching directly to the structure.
Once installed the front of the speaker is paintable and the active diaphragm is energized by dual neodymium high-frequency motors that are connected to carbon fiber face plates.
The front panel is designed to match up to 0.5” or 5/8” wallboard and can be covered with most wall and ceiling finishes including latex paint, light texture and wallpaper. Once covered the speakers are indistinguishable from the surrounding wall.
The STX8 speakers have two fully isolated audio channels and use heavy-duty crossovers. Dual voice coil 8” woofers deliver low frequency sounds down to 45Hz and high frequency sounds to 20kHz.
