Today we are taking a look at one of the lowest priced performance processors that Intel offers called the Intel Core 2 Duo E6750. This CPU sells for around $200 online and has great performance for gaming and general computer work.
If you are looking for a processor to be the brains of your new gaming machine, but don’t want to break the bank the E6750 is a great option. The CPU also uses the 1333MHz FSB and 65 nm technology.
Review excerpt: “You will want to be sure if you opt for the Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 that your mainboard supports the 1333MHz FSB speed. Mainboards that do support the FSB are the Intel P35 and the NVIDIA 680i and 650i mainboards. The P35 offers DDR3 support while the NVIDIA chipsets don’t, right now that’s not much of an issue with DDR3 not affecting performance much.” Read the full Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 review here.
