Panasonic announces a new home theater LCD projector dubbed TH-AX200.

The new Panasonic TH-AX200 is the brightest HD Ready LCD Projector with 2,000lm. A year ago Panasonic announced though the TH-AX100, which also already had 2,000lm. In the new press-release the comparison of an image from the AX100 and the AX200 shows a dramatically improvement.

Other features of the TH-AX200 include 6,000:1 contrast ratio, 2 HDMI ports, dynamic sharpness control, 14bit digital signal processing, lens shift and 200 inch max. screen size. The Panasonic TH-AX200 starts shipping at the end of October in Japan.
