Purple Sandisk Flash Products fight Alzheimer

Sandisk launches a new campaign against Alzheimer's disease with launch of specially branded 2GB SanDisk Ultra II SD card and a 2GB SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB flash drive.
For every purple colored device sold Sandisk donates $1 to the Alzheimer's Association, the leading volunteer organization for Alzheimer's research and family support. The company limits though the amount to $1 million.
SanDisk's two Take Action Against Alzheimer's products are available now at select Best Buy stores in the United States. Other U.S. retailers are expected to begin carrying the products in October. The 2GB SanDisk Ultra II SD card has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $44.99, and the 2GB Cruzer Micro USB flash drive has an MSRP of $39.99.
