Australian SMS Technology stopped selling the M500 wristwatch mobile phone directly. They have now signed distribution deals for the U.S. and Europe.
The U.S. distributor is Brightpoint, which is selling wireless products to carriers and other businesses.
The European reseller for the unique GSM watch is Dangaard Telecom, which funny enough was just acquired by Brightpoint.
The question now is which provider or store will offer the M500 wristwatch phone in time for the holiday shopping season. SMS sold the M500 for about $1,000. I definitely hope the price will be way lower once offered from a reseller in the U.S..
Several early adopters already have the M500 strapped to their wrist.
SMS Technology launched the M500 wrist cell phone in May, when they replaced the initially planned M300 GSM phone with the advanced M500.
Via the SMS Technology site. Details and photos of the M500 can be found here.
