Sony thinks about selling PS3 Cell CPU Plant?

Sony might sell a chip production facility to Toshiba report sources close to the matter.
The facility is also manufacturing the Cell CPU, which is the heart of the Sony PS3. Sony, IBM and Toshiba revealed the Cell chip back in 2005.
The sale would help Sony to continue to focus on its core businesses.
The report also indicates that Sony might create a joint venture with Toshiba to secure the supply of chips for the Sony PS3.
