Today Toshiba launched a complete line of HD DVD equipped computers at different price points starting as low as $1149. The five new HD DVD notebooks include the Qosmio G45, Qosmio F45, Satellite X205, Satellite P205 and the Satellite A205.

Toshiba is also offering five free HD DVD movies from a list of 15 titles via a mail in rebate to anyone who buys one of the five notebooks. Titles are selected from five categories and one selection is made from each, much like the stand-alone HD DVD player promotion.

There are some good titles including The Chronicles of Riddick, Constantine, Laura Croft: Tomb Raider, Blazing Saddles, and The Perfect Storm. All five of the notebooks include a HDMI out so you can play the movies on your big screen TV at up to 1080p.
