Toshiba Adds X205-SLi1 and X205-SLi3 Notebooks Using NVIDIA SLI Technology

Toshiba announced the addition of two NVIDIA SLI equipped gaming notebooks to their line called the X205-SLi1 and the X205-SLi3 both of which are HD DVD equipped systems. Both notebooks feature dual NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT GPUs with a combined 512MB of video RAM and DirectX 10 capability.
These notebooks start at a price of $1999.99 and are available now at the Toshiba website. The X205-SLi3 includes a USB external HDTV tuner for playing live HDTV from an antenna or cable box. Both systems include an HDMI out for playing HD DVD movies on HDTV sets.
The systems also both have S/P DIF outputs for 5.1 surround sound and Bluetooth v 2.0+EDR connectivity. The X205-SLi3 system has 2Gb or RAM and a pair of 160GB HDD and 802.11 a/g/n as well as an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz T7500 processor. The X205-SLI1 runs a 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo T7250, 2Gb of RAM, and a pair of 120GB HDD.
