Apparently you guys did not buy enough JVC TVs and JVC HDD camcorders. JVC plans to lay off 1,150 employees, which are about 18% of their work force.
The cost cutting plans come after JVC and Kenwood agreed to a capital and business tie-up back in July.
JVC Victor plans to mostly achieve the downsizing through incentive retirement benefits.
