Finally the new piano black slim Sony PSP ships. Until now only the silver Daxter PSP bundle was shipping. Since yesterday Amazon.com ships the new Sony PSP for $169.99.

The thickness of the new PSP is 18.6mm, where as the original PSP measures 23mm. The three new features are the TV Out, the improved load time of UMD games and the ability to charge the PSP via USB ports of PCs or PS3 consoles. The white Star Wars edition of the new Sony PSP will ship on October 9th.

As reported Sony already sold 250,000 of the new slim PSP in Japan in the first four days of availability.
