Today we are putting the Microsoft SideWinder Mouse through its paces. The SideWinder Mouse is the first new Sidewinder peripheral in a long time and shows that Microsoft is committed to PC gaming not only from Games for Windows, but from a peripheral perspective too.

The SideWinder Mouse has some cool features like a built-in LCD display and an included accessory box that doubles as a cable holder. Sensitivity is 200 to 2000 dpi and adjustable on-the-fly.

At first glance, it seems like one of those poor design calls where you will be ever pressing the spot where your thumb buttons used to be.
