We are prone to lots of tornados here in Texas, but I’d take a twister over an earthquake any day. After all, I can hide from a tornado and you can’t run from an earthquake. If you live in California where earthquakes happen frequently this device may be just the thing for you.
You could see the graph on the LCD display and decide if the earthquake is the roll over and go back to bed type, the run stand in the doorway type, or the kiss your rear goodbye sort.
When the earthquake begins, the device activates an alarm and then a voice tells you know the strength of the quake. The price is about $85 and I can’t help but wonder if it would go off accidentally from people walking by or kids playing near it.
