Samsung Beat Launches at T-Mobile

Samsung has announced that the Samsung Beat SGH-t539 is available exclusively at T-Mobile. The phone features enhanced music capabilities including external music controls, stereo speaker, stereo Bluetooth, and a wired headset is included. A USB cable is included as well for loading music, an external memory slot accepts up to 2GB of memory, and a 1GB card is included pre-loaded with two songs.
File formats supported include MP3, WMA, AAC, and AAC+. The phone integrates a 1.3 megapixel camera with a 4x zoom and can capture video. Messaging options include SMS, EMS, and MMs and AOL, OCQ, Yahoo!, and Windows Live Messaging are supported.
The Blast is a quad band 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz device and it measures in at 3.54” x 1.8” x 0.7” and weighs 2.7 ounces. "The Samsung Beat is ideal for consumers who want advanced music features and mobile capabilities along with functionality and affordability," said Pete Skaryznski, senior vice president, Samsung. "Samsung prides itself on developing innovative, unique handsets for T-Mobile and the music-focused Samsung Beat represents a device that meets the needs of the on-the-go consumer."
