Verizon Wireless Samsung Gleam Announced

Verizon Wireless announced today the availability of the Samsung Gleam mobile phone. The Gleam is a shiny clamshell style phone that is V Cast and Get it Now capable. The Gleam also supports Mobile Web 2.0.
Instant messaging services supported include AIM, MSN, and Yahoo!. The Gleam can accept text, video and image messages and supports Bluetooth for wireless stereo headphones.
Onboard memory is expandable up to 4GB via microSD cards. The display is a 240 x 320 resolution 262k color TFT LCD with a 96 x 96 pixel external display. Overall dimensions of the phone are 3.88-inches x 1.91-inches x 0.55-inches and it weighs 3.35 ounces with the battery. The Gleam sells for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and 2-year agreement.
