What give’s 2K? I reviewed Bioshock a while back and thought it was an awesome and original game that was hampered by stability issues I saw during testing. Today as I was reviewing the XFX 8800 GTS 320MB Fatal1ty graphics card I found another big issue for gamers.
Bioshock forced me to reactivate the game when I changed my video card. This is the same exact system I played Bioshock on last night with a pair of 8800 Ultra’s. The only change made to the machine was removing the Ultra’s and putting in the 8800 GTS Fatal1ty.
From what I am seeing, changing hardware like your video card forces you to reactivate the game, counting against your 6 total activations per computer. Come on 2K, it’s the SAME computer. I thought activating Windows Vista was bad.
