Logitech announced today that the Nintendo Wii game console now supports its Classic Keyboard 200. The 200 is a full size USB keyboard complete with num pad.
The Classic 200 is ideally suited for living room use around kids because it uses a spill-resistant design that keeps liquids from damaging the keyboard. For the Classic 200 to work the Wii has to be updated to Wii Menu version 3.1.
The keyboard is available now for $14.99 making it one of the cheapest Wii peripherals around. "We are pleased to have Logitech's support and be able to bring yet another keyboard compatible with the Nintendo Wii console," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "Logitech is the perfect partner to support Wii gamers who want to optimize their Wii experience."
