Dean Takahashi over at Mercury News spreads the word about the next motherboard version of the Xbox 360.
As reported new improved 65nm CPU based Xbox 360 (Falcon) are shipping now. The Falcon based Xbox 360s already using already less energy and do not get that hot.
The Jasper motherboard focuses on new 65nm graphics chip from ATI Technologies and smaller memory chips. Jasper could then become the ultimate stable Xbox 360 without overheating issues. When Jasper Xbox 360 consoles will begin shipping is not clear. Do not count on seeing it this holiday season.
