Sony introduces wireless 7.1 channel surround sound headphones dubbed MDR-DS7000.
The Sony MDR-DS7000 delivers wireless surround sound via 2.4Ghz band. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts for 10 hours in the 285g weighing headphones.
A special game mode has been developed together with Sony Computer Entertainment for optimal surround sound experience during game play, preferably on the Sony PS3 I assume.
The 40mm speakers inside the headphone deliver a frequency bandwidth of 6Hz to 25kHz.
The Sony MDR-DS7000 will ship on November 10th in Japan. There is no official pricing yet.
