Motorola Announces Slick MOTO U9 Phone

Motorola has announced the new MOTO U9 phone which claimes to deliver the best mobile music. The phone uses Motorola stereo Bluetooth and Crystal talk technology. External touch sensitive controls and floating animated screensavers are shown on the external display.
The phone is designed to make it easy to access your music and switch between music and the phone functions. When a call comes in, the song you are listening to is automatically paused. The U9 uses Windows Media Player 11 and can play WMAv10, Janus DRM, MP3, AAC, AAC+, and AAC+ Enhanced files.
Onboard storage can be up to 25MB and storage is expandable via microSD cards up to 4GB. The camera is 2MP with 8x zoom and can record video too. Motorola says the U9 will be available in Q4 2007 in Asia, Latin America and Europe. No comment was made on pricing or availability in America at this time.
