Singapore Airlines unveiled the first A380 interior revealed at the aircraft delivery in France. The A380 is configured with 471 seats in three classes and features 12 Singapore Airlines Suites. The Suites are called “a cabin class beyond first class”.
The suites offer passengers their own cabin in the sky and were developed by French yacht designer Jean-Jacques Coste. Each seat in the suites is a meter wide with arms folded away and is fully adjustable. When a customer is ready to sleep the cabin crew makes up a full-sized bed inside the room.
Entertainment in the suite includes a 23-inch LCD TV and those needing to work can turn the suite into an office with height adjustable desk. Power is available for laptops and passengers with a thumb drive can plug into the USB port to work on documents via KrisWorld in-flight entertainment, which features productivity software. The plane also has 60 business class seats and 399 economy class seats.
