Nokia announces the N810 Internet Tablet that follows the Nokia N800 the company introduced in January.
The Nokia N810 features a slide-out keyboard along with a 4.13 inch touch screen (800x480px).
The Wi-Fi only Nokia device lets you surf the web and use services like Google Mail, Facebook or YouTube. You can also go online via Bluetooth and a mobile phone.
The Nokia N810 runs maemo Linux based OS2008, updatable also on the Nokia N800.
The Nokia N810 is expected to start shipping mid November with an estimated retail price of $479(excluding local taxes). The new Nokia Internet Tablet is way more interesting than the previous models as it now has a slide-out keyboard. For quite a bit less money though I would rather get the high-end Asus Eee PC 8G.
