There seems to be a new product category emerging of very low-cost projectors for kids and gaming that feature hair raisingly poor specifications. Over the weekend we reported about the Low-cost Phantiq Video Game Projector V.3 that sells for $179.99.

Gadget store Hammacher Schlemmer has a multimedia projector for kids that sells for a similar low price of $199.95.
Hammacher has not been very forward on the hard specifications for this projector, but what is to be expected from a 35W bulb. The image this LCD projector can create is supposed to range up to 60". AV cables to connect to DVD players and such are included.
