Motorola announced today its MOTOROKR T505 portable in-car speakerphone and music system. The device looks just like the old Motorola pagers we used in the hospital when I had a real job. The T505 combines a hands free Bluetooth speakerphone for taking and sending calls along with a FM transmitter.
No wires or installation is required to use the device and pairing is easy to accomplish with Motorola’s EasyPair technology. Station finder is also featured in the T505 allowing the device to find the best station for broadcasting automatically.
"Today's drivers demand convenience and connectivity without missing a beat to what's important to them -- their calls and their music," said Jason Few, corporate vice president, Motorola, Inc. "We're excited to introduce a portable, music-optimized ROKR to the car to enhance the mobile experience while consumers are on the road." The ROKR T505 is expected to be available in Q1 2008.
