Verizon Launches First CDMA BLackBerry Pearl

Verizon Wireless announced today that it has launched the first BlackBerry Pearl that is CDMA-enabled. The phone features EVDO connectivity for web browsing and email as well as a built-in 2MP camera.
The phone is Bluetooth capable and operates on dual-band 800/1900 MHz 1x EV-Do networks. The device can integrate up to 10 personal email accounts and has a 240x260 pixel LCD. VZ Navigator spoken turn-by-turn directions are also features and the media player's memory can be expanded via microSD cards.
A removable and rechargeable battery is included, capable of 220 minutes of talk time and 216 hours standby time. The phone will be available for purchase on November 8th at the Verizon Wireless store for $299.99 with a 2-year contract.
