Sony announces the PCM-D50 linear PCM recorder.
The Sony PCM-D50 has super techie looks and records linear PCM 96kHz 24-bit onto its integrated 4GB memory.
The PCM-D50 features a high-sensitivity performance stereo microphone to leverage the DAT sound quality recording of the device.
The angle between the two microphones on top can be adjusted to for the ideal stereo recording.
The batteries last for 20 hours when recording on the highest quality.
Measurements of the PCM-D50 are 72.0 x 154.5 x 32.7mm and the weight is 365g.
Sony introduced the PCM-D1 in 2005, the PCM-D50 takes over now.
The Sony PCM-D50 will start shipping on November 21st in Japan.
