By the end of the second quarter, the SonicBlue plans to enable the ReplayTV to play back music stored on a PC through a home network. It will also allow MP3 digital music files to be stored on its hard drive rather than on a computer.

A line of "Pro" MP3 players will also offer high-speed connections in a palm-sized form factor, but with a 20 gigabyte hard drive and the ability to connect to a network.
