Sony announced the MDR-DS7000 wireless surround sound headphones in Japan in October.

The new MDR-DS7000 from Sony delivers wireless surround sound via 2.4Ghz band. It adopts Dolby digital logic.
Sony's MDR-DS7000 corresponds with the Sony PS3, and has a game mode setting for video gamers to experience the true sound field from the game. The 40mm speakers inside the headphones deliver a frequency bandwidth of 6Hz to 25kHz.

Audio Cubes sells the Sony MDR-DS7000 for $319.
