The Toshiba HD-A35 HD-DVD Player won the vote for today's round of Amazon Customers Vote against the Samsung BD-P1400 Blu-ray player with 41% of the votes.
If you voted for the Toshiba HD-A35 you have a chance today on this wonderful Cyber Monday to buy it for $149 ($359.98).
The Samsung BD-P1400 only got 23% of the votes.
So is HD-DVD more popular or what is the reason for this win?
It cannot be the get 10 free HD-DVD disc promotion because that one is over.
The HD-A35 is more expensive, maybe that was just enough reason for it to win this vote. It would be too simple to conclude HD-DVD is winning the high definition game from this.
HD-DVD players are though the top two selling disc players on Amazon.com at the moment. The best selling Blu-ray player is ranked at 14th place, that does not look good for Blu-ray.
