There is only one thing more important for geeks than the current Holiday shopping season - CES 2008.

We will be of course be reporting from the largest consumer electronics show on the planet. Officially the CES 2008 starts on January 7th 2008. Coverage will start way before that though, or perhaps I should say it has already started.

The blog on the CES site already says where the parties will be. The new John Lennon Educational Tour Bus features mobile audio and video studio technologies and has a daily happy hour from 4-6pm, with free gifts and music.

You can also take a break in the Beck's (yes the beer company) lounge, where you can sample products and create a custom-built play list of music from your favorite genre.
