NEC announced its latest HDTV aimed at commercial applications called the NEC Multisync LCD6520. The HDTV has a full 1080p image and is embedded with NEC’s Digital Signage Technology Suite (DSTS).

The set also provides an expansion slot that allows for future expansion with technologies like IPTV, or for inserting SFF computers. The display has a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 6Ms response time and uses Ambix+T technology.

Both digital and analog signals are supported. The set is designed to commercial specifications with 24/7 operation reliability. Both landscape and portrait models are available and the landscape version can be fitted with an optional TV tuner. The price for the LCD6520 is a whopping $18,499.99 for the landscape version and $19,999.99 for the portrait version.
