Proficient Audio systems announced its latest ceiling speaker today heralded as the world’s most powerful LCR ceiling speaker. The C1030 high performance loudspeaker for home theaters is the flagship of the architectural ceiling speaker line.

The design uses a woofer and tweeter bridge set at a 15-degree angle and the tweeter pivots another 30-degrees allowing for high and mid range sounds to be in the listening sweet spot.

The C1030 is a 3-way speaker with a 10-inch Kevlar woofer in a cast magnesium basket. The mid range speaker is a 3-inch Kevlar unit and the tweeter is a 1-inch pivoting aluminum unit. The speaker can handle 200 watts of power. For high-end speakers, they are not as costly as you might expect. You can get a full set of seven C1030 speakers for about $4000.
