Hothardware already has in their test lab an unreleased DisplayPort-equipped RV635 XT board and an unreleased LCD panel. They have published some info and photos of the ATI RV635 XT board with the new DisplayPort interface.

You might recall recent announcements of a new digital display interface, dubbed DisplayPort by VESA, the Video Electronics Standards Association. This new interface will supplant DVI and VGA connections eventually as its micropacket architecture offers significantly more bandwidth with multi-monitor support over a single cable.
We've got an as yet unreleased DisplayPort-equipped RV635 XT board here and have been testing it out on an also unreleased LCD panel that we'll be showing soon. On the board you'll note that the circuitry surrounding each DisplayPort connection is minimal and devoid of those all-too familiar Silicon Image TMDS chips."
