Greenpeace mobilizes against video game console makers Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft. Greenpeace argues that consoles contain toxic chemicals and can contribute to the massive growth of electronic waste that's often dumped, causing widespread environmental pollution and health problems for unprotected workers.
Greenpeace wants Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft to clean up their products by eliminating hazardous substances and to take back and recycle their products responsibly once they become obsolete.
To get to the gamers Greenpeace published a little animated feature that features Microsoft's Master Chief, Nintendo's Mario, and Sony's Kratos.
