The Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 developer team announces that they have now managed to render the Acid2 code correctly.
The Acid2 page is a good test to show if a browser is standards compliant. The publisher of the test, the Web Standards Project, is an advocacy group, not a web standards defining body.
A beta version of IE8 is expected in the first half of 2008.
